Join Chef Shay for a full day of hands-on macaron baking and learn the techniques behind creating beautifully shaped macarons from scratch!
You’ll work step-by-step through making the perfect macaron batter, learning how to achieve the right consistency for piping and shaping. Then, it’s time to get creative! You’ll divide and color your batter before piping adorable pumpkin, bat, and ghost-shaped macarons—perfect for Halloween entertaining or gifting.
Chef Shay will guide you through making two delicious fillings to fill you macarons, a smooth buttercream and a rich chocolate ganache.
Whether you’re making macarons for the first time or already have some experience, this class is designed to help you build confidence, fine-tune your technique, and learn something new.

This class is suitable for the following Dynamic Duo* types:
YES: Parent/Grandparent & Child (as these are full day classes, they are suitable for older children 12+ or younger children with a keen interest in decorating)
YES: Couples
YES: Friends (you will share all equipment/ingredients for 1 recipe/batch…we let you rock, paper, scissors if the recipe doesn’t divide equally.
*What is a Dynamic Duo? It’s basically two people sharing the same workstation at no extra charge. You share all equipment and ingredients for a singlebatch of whatever we’re making that day.
We provide all ingredients, supplies, and tools required for use during each class. Best of all you get to take home whatever tasty treats you make - we provide all boxes/packaging too!
Please wear comfortable shoes (stools will be provided) and have long hair tied back. For the comfort of all our students and staff, we ask that you refrain from wearing strong perfume or cologne. You may wish to bring a cardigan or sweater as the kitchen is kept at 68F.
