Get ready to fall in love with Sweden’s irresistibly fragrant answer to the cinnamon roll! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn to make Kardemummabullar—buttery Swedish cardamom buns that are soft, aromatic, beautifully twisted, and just the right amount of sweet.
We’ll Slow down, embrace the Swedish tradition of fika (coffee break), and bake something delicious while we’re at it!
These delicious pastries are created with an enriched dough that is infused with warm, fragrant cardamom, and then we add a luscious cardamom filling. You’ll get plenty of hands-on practice rolling, filling, twisting, and shaping the dough into the buns’ signature knots. You'll create a batch of dough to take home to practice your bun making skills and enjoy them for your own fika! Because in Sweden, fika isn’t simply a coffee break—it’s taking time to pause, connect, and enjoy something delicious.
While our buns are baking, we’ll make a quick orange marmalade, bright and citrusy with just the right balance of sweet and bitter. It’s the perfect accompaniment to our warm, freshly baked cardamom buns.
Come bake, twist, and discover why Kardemummabullar are a beloved Swedish favorite. No passport required !
