Springtime Swirls Buns

Sunday, May 3, 2026 | 3:00PM - 5:30PM

$179.00 Per Station (Suitable for Dynamic Duos, please see below for details)

Celebrate one of spring’s most beloved flavor pairings in this class featuring Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble Rolls. We’ll begin by mixing a batch of soft, enriched vanilla bean brioche dough from scratch that you’ll take home to proof overnight. Because brioche requires time to develop its pillowy texture, dough will also be provided in class so you can jump straight into the fun part, shaping the rolls.

Next, you’ll prepare a vibrant strawberry rhubarb compote, cooking the fruit down until it becomes jammy, sweet, and just a little tart. To bring the “crumble” element to life, you’ll also make a buttery shortbread streusel that bakes into golden, toasty clusters to sprinkle over the rolls.

Once the components are ready, you’ll learn the techniques for rolling, slicing, and filling your beautiful brioche swirls so every roll has perfect layers of fruit and crumb. While the rolls proof and bake, we’ll whip together a luscious vanilla mascarpone glaze that melts into the warm swirls for the perfect finishing touch.

While your rolls are baking, you’ll get to enjoy a batch, Chef Keri prepared ahead of time, so you can taste exactly what you’ll be making and be inspired to recreate these cozy, fruit-filled bakery treats at home.

This class is suitable for the following Dynamic Duo* types:

YES: Parent/Grandparent & Child (this is a Boozy Bake, so use your discretion)

YES: Couples/Roommates (live in the same household)

YES: Friends (you will share all equipment/ingredients for 1 recipe/batch…we let you rock, paper, scissors if the recipe doesn’t divide equally.

*What is a Dynamic Duo? It’s basically two people sharing the same workstation at no extra charge. You share all equipment and ingredients for a single batch of whatever we’re making that day.

We provide all ingredients, supplies, and tools required for use during each class. Best of all you get to take home whatever tasty treats you make - we provide all boxes/packaging too!

Please wear comfortable shoes (stools will be provided) and have long hair tied back. For the comfort of all our students and staff, we ask that you refrain from wearing strong perfume or cologne. You may wish to bring a cardigan or sweater as the kitchen is kept at 68F.
