Korean Street Food Cooking Class
Bring the vibrant flavors of Seoul’s street markets to your own kitchen!
Join us for a fun and hands-on cooking class where you'll learn to make three of Korea’s most beloved street food dishes from scratch. Perfect for beginners and food lovers alike, this class celebrates the bold flavors, comforting textures, and vibrant culture of Korean street cuisine.
✨ On the Menu:
Gimbap – Often called Korea’s answer to sushi, this handheld favorite is perfect for snacking or on-the-go meals. You’ll roll seasoned rice and seaweed around colorful, cooked fillings like egg, pickled radish, and carrots. Gimbap is as fun to make as it is to eat—and easily customizable to suit your taste!
Tteokbokki (Spicy Rice Cakes) – Learn how to cook this iconic Korean comfort food in a rich, spicy-sweet gochujang sauce. Topped with melty cheese, green onions, and hard-boiled egg, this dish is both fiery and indulgent. Ready in just 20 minutes, it’s the ultimate quick meal with big flavor.
Hotteok (Sweet Stuffed Pancakes) – End on a sweet note with these crispy, chewy pancakes filled with a warm mixture of brown sugar and sesame seeds. Pan-fried to golden perfection, hotteok are an irresistible street snack you’ll want to make again and again.
Whether you’re a K-drama foodie, curious cook, or just love bold and comforting flavors, this class is a great way to dive into Korean cuisine. Come hungry and leave with the skills (and recipes) to recreate these classics at home!
This class is suitable for the following Dynamic Duo* types:
YES: Parent/Grandparent & Child
YES: Couples
YES: Friends (you will share all equipment/ingredients for 1 recipe/batch…we let you rock, paper, scissors if the recipe doesn’t divide equally.)
*What is a Dynamic Duo? It’s basically two buddies sharing the same workstation at no extra charge. You share all equipment and ingredients for a single batch of whatever we’re making that day. (Don’t worry, we won’t stick you with some random stranger- if you want to fly solo, you’ll have the station (and all the yummy food) all to yourself!) For Chef Nights you will always have enough for two and generally some leftovers to bring home.
We provide aprons, recipes, all ingredients, supplies, and tools required for use during each class. Best of all you get to take home whatever tasty treats you make - we provide all boxes/packaging.
Please wear comfortable shoes (stools will be provided) and have long hair tied back. For the comfort of all our students and staff, we ask that you refrain from wearing strong perfume or cologne. You may wish to bring a cardigan or sweater as the kitchen is kept at 68F.
