Join cookie queen Doshia Freeman for a joyful, hands-on Easter cookie experience where sugar meets structure! In this immersive rolled buttercream cookie class, you’ll build and decorate an adorable 3D Easter Train cookie centerpiece complete with pastel train cars, candy-swirled wheels, Easter eggs, florals, and the sweetest bunny and chick passengers.
This class focuses on creating smooth, fondant-like finishes using rolled buttercream, giving you a soft, delicious alternative with beautiful professional results. Each student (or Dynamic Duo) will assemble and decorate their own multi-piece 3D cookie train, perfect as an Easter table centerpiece or show-stopping gift.
You’ll begin with freshly baked cookies and pre-made rolled buttercream while learning how to work with structure-friendly doughs and coverings. Doshia will guide you step-by-step through:
• Assembling and stabilizing a 3D cookie structure
• Rolling, covering, and smoothing buttercream panels
• Clean edges, seams, and decorative trims
• Creating dimension with molded accents and layering
• Adding character elements like bunnies, chicks, eggs, and candy-style wheels
• Final detailing to bring your Easter Bunny Express to life
No experience necessary — just bring your creativity and your love for Easter sweetness!
This class is suitable for the following Dynamic Duo types:
YES: Parent/Grandparent & Child
YES: Couples (live in the same household)
YES: Friends (you will share all equipment/ingredients for 1 recipe/batch…we let you rock, paper, scissors if the recipe doesn’t divide equally.
*What is a Dynamic Duo? It’s basically two buddies sharing the same workstation at no extra charge. You share all equipment and ingredients for a single batch of whatever we’re making that day. (Don’t worry, if you want to fly solo, we won’t put you with some random stranger!)
We provide all ingredients, supplies, and tools required for use during each class. Best of all you get to take home whatever tasty treats you make - we provide all boxes/packaging too!
Please wear comfortable shoes (stools will be provided) and have long hair tied back. For the comfort of all our students and staff, we ask that you refrain from wearing strong perfume or cologne. You may wish to bring a cardigan or sweater as the kitchen is kept at 68F.
