I always had a growing passion for something completely different—baking. Even though I earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science and spent years focused on tech, I was always drawn to the warmth and creativity of the kitchen.
I was born in Italy, where food is often tied to family, tradition, and care. That early connection stayed with me, even as life took me in different directions. When I eventually discovered lievito madre—a natural Italian sourdough starter—it felt like coming home. I became fascinated with the science and rhythm of fermentation, and over the years, I’ve nurtured my own starter and deepened my understanding of this beautiful tradition.
That passion grew into Lievito Bakes, my small bakery here in Florida, where I bake real sourdough with just flour, water, and time—no shortcuts, no additives, just honest ingredients.
